Syrian Human without Being /

I see pink in everything I encounter. An optimist at heart, I am a Saudi Muslim mother who believes that world peace transcends race, religion, gender, and age. I am proud to call many people friends: from Israel and Argentina, Uruguay and Pakistan, Syria and the United States—and I am proud that what unites us is our common faith in humanity. Optimism has been difficult for me at times, especially as a mother of three boys, one of whom is a four year old cancer fighter. Yet, my faith, friends, and conviction as a mother have carried me through.
